Subtle Tint For Daily Driving

Has anyone tinted their car mainly to reduce glare during normal commuting rather than to make the car look darker? I drive a lot in the late afternoon, and the low sun through the side glass gets tiring, but I still want the finish to look factory-like and practical.

I went for a fairly light setup because I did not want the car to look modified from across the street. The biggest change was on bright afternoon drives, where car window tint made the cabin feel calmer without making the glass look too dark. I also noticed less squinting when the sun hit from the side, which mattered more than the appearance. Before choosing the shade, I looked at a few cars in daylight rather than relying only on online photos. That helped me avoid going too dark and kept the result suitable for everyday use.
